Opening Night

Well, it's come at last. Opening night. Of my play I mean. "Bye Bye Birdie" opens tonight. Everyone gets that kinda nervous/excited feeling on opening night. Being at least a little nervous is a good thing though. It keeps you on your toes. It's going to be awesome. I love doing musical theatre. You build such great friendships and meet such great people. Also, you get to wear silly costumes, put on hideous make-up, sing, dance, and act! :) Just about all of my best friends I met doing theatre. This will be my fifth play. Maybe I should go practice some more, "Goin' steady! Goin' steady..."

TUMBLEWEEDS!

AAUUUGH!

Today has been absolutely insane. Pure and utter insanity I tell you.
We had some serious wind yesterday (gusts over 40mph!) and it brought
the tumbleweeds. You couldn't see the front door, you couldn't walk on
the deck or the front path, the orchard in the back looks like a secret
garden because it's completely covered. I tell ya. I spent my day
uncovering the front door and the deck. Did I mention the dog's pen in
almost completely full also? There must have been thousands.
Literally. I guess I'll go pick the stickers out of my shoes.

Teen Programming Group

Hey! I need some members! In my Teen Programming Google group that is. You can visit it here. I know, I know. There are hardly any members. Two be exact. And I'm one of them. :( This is why I need you to visit and if you are at all interested, join! It's just a place where teen or beginner programmers can talk about the different languages they use, etc, etc. So, get over there!
